What is FAIR?

Thanks for the response.
Other than Christ,  there is no one without sin, so who can hold the priesthood for any length of time?  Bob

Well Bob, a correct understanding of the Gospel makes it plain. I will try to explain using sources that you have told me already that you say that you believe.
The question is do all people really believe what God has said to his prophets in the scriptures, or do they just ignore with disbelief the things that they don’t want to hear about.
Jesus said: “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”    Matthew 5: 48
So Bob, did Jesus ever give us any commandment that he thought was impossible for us to keep?       You say that nobody is without sin.  I will agree, but you don’t understand what sin really is. The word we call sin in the English language, is from the Hebrew word “chata” which means to miss the mark, to err.  Think of using a bow to shoot an arrow at a target.  Unless you hit what we call the Bulls eye, in the center you have missed the mark, and erred, or sinned.
Bob, I think that you are perfect in 2nd. Or 3rd grade math. I doubt if you ever miss the mark in spelling at 5th. Or 6th grade level either.  So what commandments do you know about that you can keep and be perfect as Jesus commanded? I think that you do not kill. I think that you do not bow down to any graven images as Exodus 20: 4 tells us. So there you are perfect.  Now what you need to do is to learn about the rest of Gods commandments and keep all of them. The Gospel is so designed that as you move up from one level of Priesthood to another, you have to become more perfect in more things. Until you arrive at the point in this life that you can receive the Promises from God that your calling and election is sure.  And that you will share in the glories of the Celestial kingdom, and that all the covenants that you were told about in the Aaronic endowment will be fulfilled and come to pass.
You will remember that you were told then that “all these blessings are based upon your faithfulness.”   So if you are NOT faithful, you don’t get the blessing.

So Bob if you will remain faithful to God, then I personally can tell you that he absolutely will fulfill his promise to you. Do you really believe D&C 93:1
“Verily, thus saith the Lord: It shall come to pass that every soul who forsaketh his sins and cometh unto me, and calleth on my name, and obeyeth my voice, and keepeth my commandments, shall see my face and know that I am.”                     How do you feel about this one? D&C 130: 3 Do you really believe it?
“John 14:23—The appearing of the Father and the Son, in that verse, is a personal appearance; and the idea that the Father and the Son dwell in a man's heart is an old sectarian notion, and is false.”

Do you really believe this. D&C 52: 14-19 “And again, I will give unto you a pattern in all things, that ye may not be deceived; for Satan is abroad in the land, and he goeth forth deceiving the nations— (Can you follow a pattern?)

15 Wherefore he that prayeth, whose spirit is contrite, the same is accepted of me if he obey mine ordinances.   (Bob, the LDS Church can’t even teach D&C 132 the first six verses, or obey them. They make excuses for NOT obeying Matthew 4: 4)
16 He that speaketh, whose spirit is contrite, whose language is meek and edifieth, the same is of God if he (she) obey mine ordinances.  (Only an idiot would expect to cut a square and then fold it into a circle. Or try to fit a square peg into a round hole.)

17 And again, he that trembleth under my power shall be made strong, and shall bring forth fruits of praise and wisdom, according to the revelations and truths which I have given you.
((If the pattern you have does not fit the revelations and truths given, then you just can’t get the results.
Just try to bake a cake and use salt in the recipe instead of sugar, and see how well you like the results. Or use dirt instead of flour. People think they are smarter than God and will just not follow the recipe he has written in the scriptures.)
18 And again, he that is overcome and bringeth not forth fruits, even according to this pattern, is not of me. (Read what fruits are in 2nd. Nephi 3 It tells us 19 times in just that one chapter what fruit is. Verses 4,5,6,7,11,12,14,18,19,21.)
19 Wherefore, by this pattern ye shall know the spirits in all cases under the whole heavens.”    D&C 52:14-19

The Prophet Joseph Smith tells us: “There are a great many wise men and women too in our midst who are too wise to be taught; therefore they must die in their ignorance, and in the resurrection they will find their mistake. Many seal up the door of heaven by saying, So far God may reveal and I will believe. All men who become heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ will have to receive the fulness of the ordinances of his kingdom; and those who will not receive all the ordinances will come short of the fullness of that glory, if they do not lose the whole.”
(Joseph Smith, Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, selected and arranged by Joseph Fielding Smith [Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., 1976], Page 309.)

Bob read all of my links on Calling and Election Sure to see that the LDS Church people only have two Priesthoods. That a man must have more than one woman sealed to him to qualify for the Highest 3rd. Priesthood they don’t even understand about.     CLICK HERE to those Links. Quotes are from former LDS Authorities they now reject.   So how do they explain these scriptures?

“O ye pollutions, ye
hypocrites, ye teachers, who sell yourselves for that which will canker, why have ye polluted the holy church of God? Why are ye ashamed to take upon you the name of Christ? Why do ye not think that greater is the value of an endless happiness than that misery which never dies—because of the praise of the world?”     Mormon 8: 38

“For do we not read that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and in him there is no variableness neither shadow of changing?”   Mormon 9: 9

“For I know that God is not a partial God, neither a changeable being; but he is unchangeable from all eternity to all eternity.     Moroni 8: 18

“I perceive that it has been made known unto you, by the testimony of his word, that he cannot walk in crooked paths; neither doth he vary from that which he hath said; neither hath he a shadow of turning from the right to the left, or from that which is right to that which is wrong; therefore, his course is one eternal round.”      Alma 7: 20

“But thou art the same yesterday, today, and forever; and thou hast elected us that we shall be saved, whilst all around us are elected to be cast by thy wrath down to hell; for the which holiness, O God, we thank thee; and we also thank thee that thou hast elected us, that we may not be led away after the foolish traditions of our brethren, which doth bind them down to a belief of Christ, which doth lead their hearts to wander far from thee, our God.” Alma 31: 17

“And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.”      2 Nephi 29: 9

Bob, just ask any of the Mormon Church leaders today and they will tell you that I am full of dung (shit). Because they don’t believe their own scriptures that God can speak to some poor, crippled farmer with more than one woman sealed to him.
They think that God has lost his voice.  I would almost agree because he has been screaming at them so long. Millions of people would rather die than believe what God has said to his prophets.  See D&C 64: 38-39 that says: “For it shall come to pass that the inhabitants of Zion shall judge all things pertaining to Zion.

And liars and hypocrites shall be proved by them, and they who are not apostles and prophets shall be known.”      Doctrine and Covenants 64: 38-39

“And the rebellious shall be pierced with much sorrow; for their iniquities shall be spoken upon the housetops, (TV) and their secret acts shall be revealed. And the voice of warning shall be unto all people, by the mouths of my disciples, whom I have chosen in these last days. And they shall go forth and none shall stay them, for I the Lord have commanded them.”           Doctrine and Covenants 1: 3 -5

Bob have you kept the commandment: “Behold, I sent you out to testify and warn the people, and it becometh every man who hath been warned to warn his neighbor. Therefore, they are left without excuse, and their sins are upon their own heads. He (she) that seeketh me early shall find me, and shall not be forsaken. Therefore, tarry ye, and labor diligently, that you may be perfected in your ministry to go forth among the Gentiles for the last time, as many as the mouth of the Lord shall name, to bind up the law and seal up the testimony, and to prepare the saints for the hour of judgment which is to come; That their souls may escape the wrath of God, the desolation of abomination which awaits the wicked, both in this world and in the world to come.”   Doctrine and Covenants 88: 81- 85

Bob, after I received a revelation last week and then called you for permission to put our email correspondences on my web site, I called Salt Lake City and asked some of our people to go to the “FAIR” meeting in Sandy. They said OK. Thursday 8/05
I got up at 4:30 am. And drove to SLC and met them at the Conference in Sandy.
In two days we talked to many people and gave out free bookmarks.
Many good people were there and I thought of Joseph’s quote:
“For there are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, denominations, who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it.”  Joseph Smith,
Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, selected and arranged by Joseph Fielding Smith [Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., 1976],
Pages 145-146

I told Scott Gordon the President of FAIR (
The Foundation for Apologetic Information & Research (FAIR) www.fairlds.org and a few others who were standing near him to watch for Gordon B. Hinckley to die in December and shortly after his death that millions in the USA would die in the surprise attack.
I am afraid that he and those others will just procrastinate like Alma tells :

“And now, as I said unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore,
I beseech of you that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.
34 Ye cannot say, when ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to my God. Nay, ye cannot say this; for that same spirit which doth possess your bodies at the time that ye go out of this life, that same spirit will have power to possess your body in that eternal world.

35 For behold, if ye have procrastinated the day of your repentance even until death, behold, ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil, and he doth seal you his; therefore, the Spirit of the Lord hath withdrawn from you, and hath no place in you, and the devil hath all power over you; and this is the final state of the wicked.

36 And this I know, because the Lord hath said he dwelleth not in unholy temples, but in the hearts of the righteous doth he dwell; yea, and he has also said that the righteous shall sit down in his kingdom, to go no more out; but their garments should be made white through the blood of the Lamb.”  Alma 34: 33-36

Subject: RE: Priesthood question answers

Bob, your assumption is correct, that “your” priesthood can only be taken away by your “Un-righteous acts. If you ever did sustain the LDS Authorities in their apostasy, then God would say “He is for the devil, and not me.” He would say “amen” to you, that’s the end.
See the “Excommunication Link” on my home page. The reason we re-confirm the priesthood is because “Baptism” washes away “the past” completely. John Taylor prophesied the day “would” come when the men in the Church would “NOT” have the authority of the Priesthood. It was in that Musser Book you had for awhile. He said that in 1886. Priesthood is the authority to act for God. Any un-righteous acts out of line with the commandments are not valid. See DC 121: 34-38   AND verse 39 ! ! that is why I try to “prove” everything with quotes for persuasion, and pure knowledge. See verses 40-41   You are well off I think, just hold onto the Iron Rod. Bless you.

 Leland,
Thank you for your informative and detailed reply.
My question was directed more to what happened to the priesthood, which is without beginning or end of days, etc.    I've read your writings, quotes et al many times.  I have also taken your direction in requesting a witness as to your prophetship, priesthood etc.
I have earnestly sought such and to date, still await the witness.
My question is more directed to "what happened to my priesthood"?
I was ordained an elder 8/29/1970 which was before the Kimball/Canaanite issue.
If I had the Melchizedech priesthood and, later, someone else did something contary to an ordinance, why would my priesthhood be taken away? It appears, then, that my priesthhood and subsequent exaltation is controlled by the action of others.

You baptized me again and laid your hands on me for the Aaronic. I saw no harm in such as I saw such was a confirmation of the lesser priesthood I already had.  If I already have the priesthood, why is it necessary to get it again and why even have this priesthood if it can be taken away by others actions?  Sincerely,   Bob

Nothing has changed in almost 2000 years. Leaders today 'say' they have the 'priesthood',
when their own former prophets say that they don't. Is the priesthood removed from the earth? If not, who has it?  Bob

Subject: RE: Priesthood question

Bob, here are some good thoughts on Priesthood. I saw your email when I got home but my web server was down all day (2 days) because of phone problems with the Quest lines.   Some of my comments are in blue plain to see.   Others in red are Joseph’s.
These are from the Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith and the page numbers listed.
Realize that “any” priesthood authority has to conform with what has already been revealed and not overstep the bounds of that authority.
You have the proper authority to officiate in any “Aaronic” capacity. To baptize, bless the sacrament, slay a lamb, or other Aaronic duties. Following are all quotes from Joseph, they are all true and correct.

All are bound by the principles of virtue and happiness, but one great privilege of the Priesthood is to obtain revelations of the mind and will of God. It is also the privilege of the Melchizedek Priesthood, to reprove, rebuke, and admonish, as well as to receive revelation. If the Church knew all the commandments, one-half they would condemn through prejudice and ignorance.”   Page 111
Today there are no revelations to the Church, so now what does that mean! !

Have you ever seen any written revelations from any of those authorities?

The LDS have prophets that don't prophesy, Seers that can't see, and revelators that reveal nothing.

The Priesthood is everlasting—without beginning of days or end of years; without father, mother, etc. If there is no change of ordinances there is no change of Priesthood. Wherever the ordinances of the Gospel are administered, there is the Priesthood.”     Page 158

Now for Elijah. The spirit, power, and calling of Elijah is, that ye have power to hold the key of the revelations, ordinances, oracles, powers and endowments of the fulness of the Melchizedek Priesthood and of the kingdom of God on the earth; and to receive, obtain, and perform all the ordinances belonging to the kingdom of God.”    Page 337
Bob I have received every “key” necessary from Jesus Christ except the keys to the resurrection. And I have not received that ordinance yet.

The power of Elijah is sufficient to make our calling and election sure; and the same doctrine, where we are exhorted to go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, &c.  We cannot be perfect without the fathers, &c. We must have revelation from them, and we can see that the doctrine of revelation far transcends the doctrine of no revelation; for one truth revealed from heaven is worth all the sectarian notions in existence.”  Page 338
Bob CLICK HERE to see a couple of dozen revelations I have been given.

Where there is no kingdom of God there is no salvation. What constitutes the kingdom of God? Where there is a prophet, a priest, or a righteous man unto whom God gives His oracles, there is the kingdom of God; and where the oracles of God are not, there the kingdom of God is not.”       Page 272

Yet the Melchizedek Priesthood comprehends the Aaronic or Levitical Priesthood, and is the grand head, and holds the highest authority which pertains to the priesthood, and the keys of the Kingdom of God in all ages of the world to the latest posterity on the earth; and is the channel through which all knowledge, doctrine, the plan of salvation and every important matter is revealed from heaven.
Its institution was prior to "the foundation of this earth, or the morning stars sang together, or the Sons of God shouted for joy," and is the highest and holiest Priesthood, and is after the order of the Son of God, and all other Priesthoods are only parts, ramifications, powers and blessings belonging to the same, and are held, controlled, and directed by it. It is the channel through which the Almighty commenced revealing His glory at the beginning of the creation of this earth, and through which He has continued to reveal Himself to the children of men to the present time, and through which He will make known His purposes to the end of time.”      Page 166       Now!

So is God asleep? Or does he think that the death of millions is not important?

Now for the secret and grand key. Though they might hear the voice of God and know that Jesus was the Son of God, this would be no evidence that their election and calling was made sure, that they had part with Christ, and were joint heirs with Him. They then would want that more sure word of prophecy, that they were sealed in the heavens and had the promise of eternal life in the kingdom of God. Then, having this promise sealed unto them, it was an anchor to the soul, sure and steadfast. Though the thunders might roll and lightnings flash, and earthquakes bellow, and war gather thick around, yet this hope and knowledge would support the soul in every hour of trial, trouble and tribulation. Then knowledge through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the grand key that unlocks the glories and mysteries of the kingdom of heaven.

Compare this principle
once with Christendom at the present day, and where are they, with all their boasted religion, piety and sacredness while at the same time they are crying out against prophets, apostles, angels, revelations, prophesying and visions, etc. Why, they are just ripening for the damnation of hell. They will be damned, for they reject the most glorious principle of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and treat with disdain and trample under foot the key that unlocks the heavens and puts in our possession the glories of the celestial world. Yes, I say, such will be damned, with all their professed godliness. Then I would exhort you to go on and continue to call upon God until you make your calling and election sure for yourselves, by obtaining this more sure word of prophecy, and wait patiently for the promise until you obtain it, etc.”        Page 298

The other Comforter spoken of is a subject of great interest, and perhaps understood by few of this generation. After a person has faith in Christ, repents of his sins, and is baptized for the remission of his sins and receives the Holy Ghost, (by the laying on of hands), which is the first Comforter, then let him continue to humble himself before God, hungering and thirsting after righteousness, and living by every word of God, and the Lord will soon say unto him, Son, thou shalt be exalted.

When the Lord has thoroughly proved him, and finds that the man is determined to serve Him at all hazards, then the man will find his calling and his election made sure, then it will be his privilege to receive the other Comforter, which the Lord hath promised the Saints, as is recorded in the testimony of St. John, in the 14th chapter, from the 12th to the 27th verses.  Note the 16, 17, 18, 21, 23 verses:  "16. And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;
"17. Even the Spirit of Truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him; but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
"18. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. * * *
"21. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
"23. If a man love me, he will keep my word:
and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."
Now what is this other Comforter? It is no more nor less than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself; and this is the sum and substance of the whole matter; that when any man obtains this last Comforter, he will have the personage of Jesus Christ to attend him, or appear unto him from time to time, and even He will manifest the Father unto him, and they will take up their abode with him, and the visions of the heavens will be opened unto him, and the Lord will teach him face to face, and he may have a perfect knowledge of the mysteries of the Kingdom of God; and this is the state and place the ancient Saints arrived at when they had such glorious visions—Isaiah, Ezekiel, John upon the Isle of Patmos, St. Paul in the three heavens, and all the Saints who held communion with the general assembly and Church of the Firstborn.”      Page 150

The people in the LDS Church don’t really believe Acts 2:17-19 about the handmaidens.

“The sacrifice required of Abraham in the offering up of Isaac, shows that if a man would attain to the keys of the kingdom of an endless life; he must sacrifice all things. When God offers a blessing or knowledge to a man, and he refuses to receive it, he will be damned. The Israelites prayed that God would speak to Moses and not to them; in consequence of which he cursed them with a carnal law.
What was the power of Melchizedek? 'Twas not the Priesthood of Aaron which administers in outward ordinances, and the offering of sacrifices. Those holding the fulness of the Melchizedek Priesthood are kings and priests of the Most High God, holding the keys of power and blessings. In fact, that Priesthood is a perfect law of theocracy, and stands as God to give laws to the people, administering endless lives to the sons and daughters of Adam.
Abraham says to Melchizedek, I believe all that thou hast taught me concerning the priesthood and the coming of the Son of Man; so Melchizedek ordained Abraham and sent him away. Abraham rejoiced, saying, Now I have a priesthood.”      Page 322

The law revealed to Moses in Horeb never was revealed to the children of Israel as a nation. Elijah shall reveal the covenants to seal the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the children to the fathers. The anointing and sealing is to be called, elected and made sure. "Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like unto the Son of God, abideth a priest continually." The Melchizedek Priesthood holds the right from the eternal God, and not by descent from father and mother; and that priesthood is as eternal as God Himself, having neither beginning of days nor end of life.   The 2nd Priesthood is Patriarchal authority."
     Page 323
Bob I was anointed and received Patriarchal Keys and Authority in 1982.
I   have had every key necessary given to me by the Saviour except the keys to the resurrection.

Read my link about my 42 days of “Fasting.”

"The Holy Ghost is God's messenger to administer in all those priesthoods. Jesus Christ is the heir of this Kingdom—the Only Begotten of the Father according to the flesh, and holds the keys over all this world.
Men have to suffer that they may come upon Mount Zion and be exalted above the heavens
I know a man that has been caught up to the third heavens, and can say, with Paul, that we have seen and heard things that are not lawful to utter. (Aug. 27, 1843.)  —DHC 5:554-556.   Page 323                  Yes, when I spent 3 weeks there.

"Do not watch for iniquity in each other, if you do you will not get an endowment, for God will not bestow it on such. But if we are faithful, and live by every word that proceeds forth from the mouth of God, I will venture to prophesy that we shall get a blessing that will be worth remembering, if we should live as long as John the Revelator; our blessings will be such as we have not realized before, nor received in this generation. The order of the house of God has been, and ever will be, the same, even after Christ comes; and after the termination of the thousand years it will be the same; and we shall finally enter into the celestial kingdom of God, and enjoy it forever".      Page 91

"The question is frequently asked, "Can we not be saved without going through with all those ordinances?"
I would answer, No, not the fulness of salvation.
Jesus said, There are many mansions in my Father's house, and I will go and prepare a place for you. House here named should have been translated kingdom; and any person who is exalted to the highest mansion has to abide a celestial law, and the whole law too.
But there has been a great difficulty in getting anything into the heads of this generation. It has been like splitting hemlock knots with a corn-dodger for a wedge, and a pumpkin for a beetle. Even the Saints are slow to understand.         Unwillingness of Saints to Learn     Every law ‘must’ be lived here in the flesh.

"I have tried for a number of years to get the minds of the Saints prepared to receive the things of God; but we frequently see some of them, after suffering all they have for the work of God, will fly to pieces like glass as soon as anything comes that is contrary to their traditions: they cannot stand the fire at all. How many will be able to abide a celestial law, and go through and receive their exaltation, I am unable to say, as many are called, but few are chosen. (Jan. 20, 1844.) 331—DHC 6:183-185.  Views of the Prophet on His Candidacy for President of the United States

“I would not have suffered my name to have been used by my friends on anywise as President of the United States, or candidate for that office, if I and my friends could have had the privilege of enjoying our religious and civil rights as American citizens, even those rights which the Constitution guarantees unto all her citizens alike. But this as a people we have been denied from the beginning. Persecution has rolled upon our heads from time to time, from portions of the United States, like peals of thunder, because of our religion; and no portion of the Government as yet has stepped forward for our relief. And in view of these things, I feel it to be my right and privilege to obtain what influence and power I can, lawfully, in the United States, for the protection of injured innocence; and if I lose my life in a good cause I am willing to be sacrificed on the altar of virtue, righteousness and truth, in maintaining the laws and Constitution of the United States, if need be, for the general good of mankind.
