I learned years ago that the NEWS media do not always tell you the truth. They are in their business to make money for their owners and employees. When they can use a catchy headline to get you to see their story then they make more money.   Newspress, TV or Radio all the same.
I have been misquoted, misunderstood, and been misrepresented, so their story is better.    I have made many mistakes about the timing of the surprise attack myself. I admit that because I have been wrong.
Each time just a few people out of the many millions that have heard of me, may do something to prepare.

Now “IF” you have read the link above then you will see why I have always thought the surprise attack would come near Christmas time. Within a week or so before, or after Christmas. Yes every year, I am surprised myself when the attack does not happen. So does that make me a false prophet when I just tell what I do see?
When others who claim to be prophets never have visions or make any predictions. They pretend to be prophets, yet are as Jude tells us: “clouds they are without water.” They never have anything to deliver. Never any visions to relate. Jude continues:  14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying,
Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

  16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage."

I know of many who say with their mouth they want to live the United Order and Plural Marriage. But they don't even pay their tithing and keep the other commandments. They just want women. Hypocrites they are and can read what God has commanded, but will not obey him. Jeremiah foretold about them: "9 The wise men are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the Lord; and what wisdom is in them?
  10 Therefore will I give their wives unto others, and their fields to them that shall inherit them: for every one from the least even unto the greatest is given to covetousness, from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely. 11 For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace." Jeremiah 8: 9-10       (The Parowan Prophet keeps crying War, War is coming not peace.)

So what kind of man does God choose to give visions and prophecy too? Would he choose a man who was bald? Would he speak to a man who married some adulteress? Would he pick a man married to many women? What about some guy who cut the foreskins off of dead men’s penises? How about a millionaire in a Suit and tie? Some church leader with a very large following of people?

People make mis-judgments all of the time about everything in their lives because they are uninformed about the true facts. Everyone does say with their mouths that they believe the Old Testament Prophets of God. But they don’t even know what they have said. People just accept their traditions that they have that those men were true prophets who spoke for God. That is what you believe don’t you. So do you really believe the New Testament Prophets?
