Eternal Marriage
When you're building a home (or eternal marriage), you want it built to the directions or blueprints. The builder must follow the instructions to make it look like you want it to when finished.

And so it is with "celestial glory." We must follow God's plans and instructions. Men try to change the plans, BUT the Lord knows who followed his plans and directions, without any changes made by men.    YOU CAN READ, CAN'T YOU? You are reading this quite well.

"For if (IF) you will that I give unto you a place in the celestial world, you must prepare yourselves BY DOING THE THINGS which I have commanded you and required of you." 
   Doctrine & Covenants 78:7)

"In the celestial glory there are three heavens or degrees; And in order to obtain the highest, a man MUST ENTER into this order of the priesthood meaning the NEW AND EVERLASTING COVENANT OF MARRIAGE: And if (IF) he does not, he cannot obtain it." (D&C 131:1-3)

"The spirit and the body are the soul of man. Therefore it must needs be sanctified from all unrighteousness, that it may be prepared for the celestial glory; For after it hath filled the measure of its creation, it shall be crowned with glory . .  And they who are not sanctified through THE LAW. must inherit another kingdom, even that of a terrestrial kingdom, OR that of a telestial kingdom. For he (she) who is not able to abide THE LAW of a celestial kingdom CANNOT abide a celestial glory.. I say unto you, the earth abideth the law of a celestial kingdom, for it filleth the measure of its creation, and transgresseth not THE LAW. All kingdoms have A LAW GIVEN; and unto every kingdom is given A LAW; and unto every law there are certain bounds also and conditions. All beings who abide not in those conditions are NOT JUSTIFIED. For intelligence cleaveth unto intelligence; wisdom receiveth wisdom; truth embraceth truth .. judgement goeth before the face of him who sitteth upon the throne (GOD) and governeth and executeth all things."       (D&C 88: 15,18, 19, 21, 22, 25, 36, 38, 39, 40)

"IF THOU LOVEST ME thou shalt serve me and KEEP ALL MY COMMANDMENTS."     
         (Doctrine and Covenants 42:29) 

For you shall live by EVERY WORD that proceedeth forth from the mouth of God. For the WORD OF THE LORD IS TRUTH..."       (Doctrine and Covenants 84: 44, 45)

"And I give unto you a commandment, that ye shall forsake all evil and cleave unto all good, that ye shall LIVE BY EVERY WORD which proceedeth forth out of the mouth of God. For he will give UNTO THE FAITHFUL line upon line, precept upon precept; and I WILL TRY YOU AND PROVE YOU HEREWITH ... FOR I have decreed in my heart, saith the Lord, that I WILL PROVE YOU IN ALL THINGS, whether you will abide In my covenant ... for If ve will not abide in my covenant ye are not worthy of me. Behold, I, the Lord am NOT WELL PLEASED with many who are in the church."          (D&C 98:11, 12, 14, 15, 19)

"And IF A PERSON GAINS MORE KNOWLEDGE AND INTELLIGENCE in this life through his diligence and obedience than another, HE WILL HAVE SO MUCH THE ADVANTAGE IN THE WORLD TO COME. There is A LAW, irrevocably decreed in heaven before the foundations of this world, upon which all blessings are predicated--and when we obtain ANY blessings from God, it is BY OBEDIENCE to that law upon which it is predicated."      (D&C 130:19, 20, 21)

"Verily, thus saith the Lord... inasmuch as you have inquired of my hand to know AND UNDERSTAND wherein I, THE LORD, justified my servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as also Moses, David and Solomon, my servants, as touching the PRINCIPLE and doctrine of their having many WIVES and concubines--Behold, and lo, I am the Lord thy God, and will answer thee as touching THIS MATTER. THEREFORE PREPARE THY HEART to receive AND OBEY the instructions which I am about to give unto you; for behold I reveal unto you A NEW AND AN EVERLASTING COVENANT and IF YE ABIDE NOT that covenant, THEN ARE YE DAMNED; for NO ONE CAN REJECT THIS COVENANT and be permitted to enter in to my glory. For ALL WHO WILL HAVE A BLESSING at my hands SHALL ABIDE THE LAW which was appointed for that blessing, AND THE CONDITIONS THEREOF, as were instituted from before the foundation of the world. And as pertaining to THE NEW AND EVERLASTING COVENANT, he that receiveth fulness thereof MUST AND SHALL ABIDE THE LAW or he shall be damned, saith the Lord God. the promise was made to Abraham; AND BY THIS LAW is the continuation of the works of my father... go ye therefore, AND DO THE WORKS OF ABRAHAM: ENTER YE INTO MY LAW and ye shall be saved - -Sarah gave Hagar to Abraham to wife. And why (yes why?) did she do it? BECAUSE THIS WAS THE LAW ...(of GODS)" 
       (D&C 132:1-6, 31, 32, 34)

"I, the Lord, am bound WHEN YE DO WHAT I SAY; but when ye do not what I say, ye have no promise. For of him unto whom much is given much is required; and he who sins against the greater light shall receive the greater condemnation ... and Inasmuch as ye KEEP NOT MY SAYINGS, which I give unto you, YE BECOME TRANSGRESSORS: and justice and JUDGMENT are the penalty which is affixed unto my law."  (D&C 82:10, 3, 4)

"Verily, I say unto you, that WOE SHALL COME unto the inhabitants of the earth IF THEY WILL NOT HEARKEN unto my words. - - And behold, whosoever believeth ON MY WORDS, them will I visit with the manifestation of my Spirit. For a DESOLATING SCOURGE shall go forth among the Inhabitants of the earth... and my word shall be verified at this time as it hath hitherto been verified. And now I command you, my servant Joseph, to repent and walk more uprightly before me, and TO YIELD TO THE PERSUASIONS OF MEN NO MORE; and that you BE FIRM IN KEEPING the commandments."  (D&C 5:5, 16, 19, 20, 22)

Not to agree with the scriptures seems foolish to us.   We are sorry things appear as hard as they do for you, but we did not make the plan--the Lord did! Alma 34:32 tells us, "For behold, this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is the day for men to perform their labors." Does plural marriage scare you?

"And again, verily I say unto you, that WHOSO FORBIDDETH TO MARRY IS NOT ORDAINED OF GOD, For marriage is ordained of God unto men."   (D&C 49:15)

"But behold, verily I say unto you, that there are MANY who have been ordained among you, whom I have called BUT FEW of them are chosen. THEY WHO ARE NOT CHOSEN have sinned (SINNED) a very grevous sin, in that they are walking in darkness  at noonday."        (D&C 95: 5, 6)

"Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that IN THE LATTER TIMES some shall depart from the faith, -. Speaking lies in hypocrisy forbidding to marry."    (1 Timothy 4:1, 2, 3)

"If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness WE LIE, and do not the truth: He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, IS A LIAR, and the truth is not in him."    (1 John 1:6; 2:4)

And your minds in times past have been darkened because of unbelief, and because you have treated lightly the things you have received--Which vanity and unbelief have brought THE WHOLE CHURCH UNDER condemnation."    (D&C 84: 54, 55)

He goes on to say in verse 56 and 57 to remember the commandments and "NOT ONLY TO SAY, BUT TO DO according to that which I have written." If we remember the "Book of Mormon" like he says to in verse 57 then we will see Ether 1:41 where the "BROTHER" of Jared was told to gather his "FAMILIES" and also Jared thy brother and his FAMILY. In Ether 6:20 we see that the "BROTHER" of Jared had 22 children, while Jared had only 12. Therefore the "BROTHER" of Jared was blessed by the Lord, and beheld his face.
                    
      D&C 84:20 tells us:
"Therefore, in the ordinances thereof, THE POWER of godliness is manifest. For without this no man can see the face of God, even the Father and live." (D&C 84:20, 22) But Mormons don't believe.

"And, behold, there was lifted up a TALENT OF LEAD: and THIS IS A WOMAN that sitteth in the midst of the ephah." (Zechariah 5:7)     "A Talent" is a woman.

"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country... And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one... after a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought another five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. He also that had received two talents came. . I have gained two other talents beside them. . Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord I new thee that thou are an hard man, . .  and I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent  His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant …Take therefore the talent from him and give it unto him which hath ten talents." 
    (Matthew 25:13,14,15,19, 20, 22, 24, 26, and 28)  
       All of the quotes below in the Journal of Discourses speak this same thing.

"I know that the  Lord giveth no  commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."
