Vision of Mosiah Hancock  

From the Journal of Mosiah Hancock, born April 9, 1834, baptized in Nauvoo, April 10, 1842, veteran of the Black Hawk War and an early settler in Southern Utah.
Near where I live.
He says:

"I was born in Kirtland, Ohio on April 9, 1834. When about 21 years of age, (1855) I was permitted by the power of God to go into his presence and my former abode. I saw the Eternal Father on his throne and his wives on his left side. Jesus said: "Mosiah, I have brought you here to show you how it was before you went to the earth. Look and see man AS HE CAME FORTH." I looked in the direction indicated and saw an innumerable line of God's children extending further than I could see. THEY WERE ARRANGED IN PAIRS, MALE AND FEMALE, and passed in front of the Eternal Father, who named them, and they were clad in long white robes with girdles tied around the waists, EACH PAIR SEEMED TO HAVE BEEN CREATED MATES.

"When thus clothed (they were born naked) they were arranged in classes of about two hundred; The males sitting in front and the females behind them. They were taught in the arts and sciences, and everything necessary to make the heart happy. I also saw Joseph, Brigham, and many others engaged in this work of education. I thought as some became more efficient than others, they were advanced from class to class, all at once THERE WAS A GATHERING OF THESE SPIRITS and the voice of the Great Eternal spoke: 'Oh, ye my children, we have an earth prepared for you, on which you can dwell AND have a chance to come up THROUGH OBEYING OUR HEAVENLY LAWS.'

"I heard the question asked: "Who will go down and set an example of humility and faithfulness to these my children, that at they may be brought, through obedience to our laws, back into our presence?"

"I thought I saw one in the express image of the Father say. 'Father, I will go down and set a pattern of humility and patience, that your children, through my example, may be brought back again.'

"I saw another, who seemed to be a very high military officer, who arose and said: 'I will go down to yonder earth and surely I will bring all your children back to you so none of them shall be lost.

"The plan of the first was accepted as being the only sure plan for an exaltation. The plan of the second was rejected with great kindness, but the second was not satisfied. Finally, Lucifer openly rebelled against the Father and the Son.

"It seemed that a platform was extended into space, upon which we could operate, by what power I could not tell. We who were faithful to the Father and Son, HAD A WHITE STAR UPON US, and the others chose a RED STAR; about one third of the males and females would not accept of either star, but withdrew from the conflict, the females taking the males by the arm, said, 'Come, let us not take part with either side. Let us retire.' When they were cast out after the manner of spiritual warfare, they had no power to return. When they were all cleared from the platform and Satan and his followers were all cast down, their female companions wept, AND we all wept.

"NO FEMALES TOOK PART AGAINST THE FATHER and the SON, but all took sides in their favor, except the neutral ones already mentioned. The Great Eternal spoke again and said, 'Hear, 0 ye my children; his voice penetrating the immensity of space so that all could hear it, 'It is decreed by the Great Eternal that the females shall not follow their males in their banishment, BUT for every male that has kept his first estate and fought valiantly for the Father and the Son, there shall be two females. They were again placed in classes, each man having two females in the ranks behind them, 'Will you obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ when you go to that earth? 'Some would be asked. 'WILL YOU OBEY THAT LAW WHICH PLACED THE GODS ON HIGH?' And in very few cases I would hear the females say, 'I want my own mate.'

"Sometimes the question would be asked of a male, 'WILL YOU OBEY THAT HIGHER LAW?' And he would answer, 'I wish to enjoy myself with the females.' Sometimes when the question would be asked of the female, she would reply. 'I wish to enjoy myself with the males.' Again the question would be asked of the males, 'IF YOU WILL NOT JOIN THE CHURCH OF CHRIST, what do you wish to be?' He would sometimes say 'I wish to be a judge, or an officer of high rank among the people.' I saw there that those who were proficient in their classes, were advanced more rapidly, until they became most perfect in those heavenly teachings, BUT some males, even there in Heaven, would neglect their females and their classes and not meet with them.

"At last I saw the time when Joseph was to go forth, and the voice of the Great Eternal said, 'Oh, my neglected daughters, gather around these my faithful servants who have been faithful in teaching you the principles of righteousness, and of our kingdom. THAT OTHERS MAY COME UP AND HAVE THE CHANCE TO BE GLORIFIED.' I saw many of them gather around Joseph and form a ring with him, AND the Savior in the center. THEY MADE A COVENANT with him that THEY WOULD MEET HIM ON THE EARTH and help him establish that great work upon the earth. I saw many of them gather around Brigham Young, John Taylor, Wilford Woodruff AND many other notable ones, AND around many who have not become so notable. They formed rings around EACH OF THEM, with Christ in the center each time, for he rehearsed to them the covenant. THEY WOULD TAKE EACH OTHER BY THE HAND, in the circle, and bow their faces down to him in the center, and in the most solemn manner AGREE TO MEET THEM HERE, until every one of those neglected daughters was provided for.

At last the time came for me to go to the earth. The Savior came to me and said, 'Mosiah, it is time for you to prepare to go, that you may return and be as we are.' He then added, 'Your time is now come to take your mission to the earth,' and he laid his hands on my head, as he had done to others and set me apart for that important mission. It seemed as though a way was opened before me, and I dived down toward the earth with the speed of lightning, and awoke while sailing through space.

Jesus taught his apostles also: Have ye not read, that HE WHICH MADE THEM AT THE BEGINNING MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE. (Matthew 9:4)

"But FROM THE BEGINNING of the creation GOD MADE THEM MALE AND FEMALE." (Mark 10:6)

See! The answers really are there in the scriptures if you search them out. Take the veil off your heart, give your life to God and you'll learn some fantastic things. Now, perhaps, you will realize why the scriptures only speak of "SONS" OF. PERDITION no daughters. There is a plurality of females in heaven. I have said that God is "Eternal Truth." God is also "plural." God is also "3/4 females." All our mothers, are Queens and Priestesses, who rule over millions of their children. See Moses 2:27 and Moses 6:9 as well.

If none of this story seems familiar to you, or reasonable, then PERHAPS you were one of those who "cut classes" over there. On the other hand maybe you have met someone, that it seems you really know, and feel close too. Yet you both know you have never met before. At least not here on this earth!

Many years ago I met a beautiful girl. She went to South High School. We dated, and she said she knew me, that she was to be my wife. Her maiden name was "Godley", and she was! Today we have some "GODLEY" "FREEBORN" children. The second day that I was conscious from the airplane crash, (told my first wife) Nancie Godley Freeborn, how I had learned beyond the veil, that I could have 35 children, having met some of them there. I came back. also because, so many of them wanted me to return to the earth, to he their father as I had promised long ago. There are about a dozen here now, and only about 2 dozen to go, so I guess you can figure out the rest! Some of them will be prophets and prophetess, Bye, until the next flycr.

  THINGS TO THINK ABOUT

The devil builds the strongest dams with fear.

They who don't cry, do not know God. he does!

Few, can live great, love great, die great.

There are only two ways to die, with the promise of God, OR NOT!

When you die, will St. Peter say: 
"Here comes a real man?"

You may stand with God on the highest mountain, while the crowd is in the valley below.

God may loan you the next breath. But! ? ? ?

They who desire to live with God must slay the natural man in themselves.

Jesus said, "That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven."

Are you thankful for that? Dying is easy, it is living life that is hard!

"The contention in heaven was - JESUS said there would be certain souls that would not be saved; and the devil said he would save them all, and laid his plans before the grandcouncil, who gave their vote in favor of Jesus Christ. So the devil rose up in rebellion against God, and was cast down, with all who put up their heads for him." (Joseph Smith, tells us in DHC 6:314)

"Why have they wandered so far FROM THE PATH OF TRUTH and rectitude? Because they left the Priesthood AND have no guide, no leader, no means of finding out what is true and what is not true. It is said the Priesthood was taken from the Church, BUT IT IS NOT SO, THE CHURCH WENT FROM THE PRIESTHOOD and continued to travel in the wilderness, TURNED FROM THE COMMANDMENTS OF THE LORD AND instituted other ordinances."

Again he said: All who understand the things of God MUST understand them by the Spirit of God." 
(Journal  of Discourses 8:15)

And again: "Let a saint diverge FROM THE PATH OF TRUTH and rectitude, IN THE LEAST, NO MATTER IN WHAT...AND HIS MIND WILL BEGIN TO BE DARKENED." 
(Journal of Discourses 3:222)

"THE PRIESTHOOD does NOT wait for ignorance; 
IT INSTRUCTS those who have not wisdom, AND are desirous of learning CORRECT PRINCIPLES."
(Journal of Discourses 7:64)

"No earthly argument, no earthly reasoning can open the minds of intelligent beings and show them heavenly things; that can only be done by the spirit of revelation."
(Journal of Discourses 18:249)

"Without the revelations of God we know not who we are. whence we came. nor who formed the earth on which we live." ( Journal of Discourses 13:234)

Now JOSEPH SMITH said: "It ALWAYS has been WHEN A MAN WAS SENT OF GOD WITH THE PRIESTHOOD and he began to preach the fulness of the Gospel. that he was thrust out by his friends, who are ready to butcher him IF HE TEACHES THINGS WHICH THEY IMAGINE TO BE WRONG: and Jesus was crucified upon this principal."
