Most people don't study the scriptures to learn about God. Instead they create in their own mind the kind of God they want to be comfortable with.  In the New Testament in Romans 12:19 it says: “Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”
Most people don't like to hear that!  “For the day of vengeance is in mine heart.” Isaiah 63:4  Where God says “If ye will not hear...I WILL send a curse upon you.” Malachi 2:2 People just blank that out in their minds. “And I will come near to you TO JUDGMENT; and I will be a swift witness against  the adulters.” Malachi 3:5

People just don't want a God like that, so they create a God in their own mind that they are comfortable with.
Even when God says: “For I am the Lord, I change NOT.” Malachi 3:6 So instead of studying the Bible, people create the kind of god they want. They become the people who worship the god of Baal, and do not even know it!  

“Choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”  Joshua 24:15

Today no Christian wants to serve Baal. Christians say that Jesus Christ is the Lord. But by keeping their traditions instead of what the scriptures say they are really following Baal.  I will show you why.

From the creation of this world, the earth in the scriptures to the time of Abraham takes the first 11 Chapters of Genesis. Beginning Chapter 12 it tells us about the family of one man called Abraham.

The apostle James tells us: “And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.” James 2:23
  So because Abraham believed God he was called the friend of God.

So from the age of this earth about four and a half “Billion” years ago, 4.5 Billion it takes 11 Chapters of Genesis to tell the story. Then beginning Chapter 12 it takes 1,178 Chapters more in the Bible to tell us about the family of just one man called Abraham. Revelation 21:12 speaks of the twelve tribes of Israel.   Every good Bible reader knows about Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob who was his grandson. Jacob who was the father of the 12 tribes of Israel. So the past 6000 years of HIStory to the coming of God to take judgment on earth is in those 1,178 Chapters of the Bible.

The “people” who really are descended from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, who had his name changed by God to Israel. Those people who can read what has been commanded not to have Christmas trees, they worship Baal instead of what God has commanded.

So as I speak today June; in summer of 2014 as the Parowan Prophet I say to you that have all the idols of Baal that you need to make your funeral and burial arrangements soon.  Don’t count of any Burial Insurance plans or death Insurance, life insurance policies don’t work in wartime. As a point of scripture the Bible says:

 15 And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog.”   Ezekiel 39:12-15
