We
are having the Feast of Tabernacles gathering here
in Southern Utah, Parowan. Just 20 miles North of Cedar City
Utah. Some of us will camp
in tents, campers, motor-homes, (tempoary dwellings) beginning
the 15 th. for the week till October 21,
2016 Even with the FREEZING Cold OUTSIDE.
Tents are temporary dwellings as
commanded, modern booths. = Tabernacles for today.

Others will come with Campers, and food just for the weekend.
People are coming from several states. Bring
your tent and food, to keep the commandments of God if you want your
family to live. We keep ALL of the Lord's commandments in Leviticus 23
and Deuteronomy 16:16 in your Bible.
My home is just 1 block

Come and see an ordinance that
has NOT been done in almost 2000 years.

This past week
someone said to me, If I was to go to
your meetings in a month, I would have to
sacrifice LDS Conference. I said:
It's not my meeting. It's the Lord's commandment.
Read 1 Samuel 15:22-23 "And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as
great delight in burnt offerings and
sacrifices, as in obeying the
voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey
is better than
sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat
of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and
idolatry." ((So now do you really want to be a stubborn,
rebellious witch?))
Read below what happened as
the result of the 2004 meeting. We
had the Ordinance for the 1st. time in 1,934
years. And the past six years of
Drought has now been here in Utah. Already
this year, as of today October 10, 2005 Utah mountains east of Salt Lake
City have received snow. Colorado got 20 inches last night. Interstate 70
was closed from Denver to the Kansas State line, about 175 miles. Below is what one of the brethren who attended the Feast of
Tabernacles, wrote the fall
in 2004 as follows:
President George Q. Cannon said: "You well
informed Latter-Day Saints know that
there are two powers which God has restored in these the last
days. ONE (1) is THE CHURCH of God,
THE
OTHER the
KINGDOM OF GOD. A man MAY belong to THE KINGDOM OF GOD and
YET NOT be a member of THE CHURCH of God." Journal of Discourses 20:
204.
From the
Documentary History of the (Mormon) Church we read:
“We are asked,
IS THE CHURCH OF GOD, and the KINGDOM OF GOD THE
SAME organization? And we are informed that some
of the brethren hold that THEY ARE SEPARATE. THIS IS THE CORRECT VIEW TO TAKE. THE KINGDOM OF GOD
is a SEPARATE organization from the Church of
God. On this point THE PROPHET JOSEPH GAVE AN EXAMPLE, which he asked the
younger elders who were present to always remember. It
was to the effect that men might be chosen to officiate
as members of the Kingdom of God who had no
standing in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints.”

This Proclamation of 1845 was issued only by the Twelve Apostles, because at that time
there was no First Presidency due to the martyrdom of the Prophet Joseph Smith on June 27,
1844.
The new
First Presidency was not organized until December, 1847.
“Proclamation
of the Twelve Apostles
By the Twelve Apostles of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints April 6,
1845
To all the
King’s of the World; To the President of the United States of America; To
the Governors of the several States; And to the Rulers and People of all
Nations. Greeting: KNOW YE-THAT the KINGDOM OF GOD has come: as has been predicted by ancient,
prophets, and prayed for in all ages; EVEN THAT KINGDOM which shall fill the whole earth, and shall stand
for ever. The great Eloheim Jehovah has been pleased once more to speak
from the heavens: and also to commune with man upon the earth, by means of
open visions, and by the ministration of HOLY MESSENGERS.
By this
means the great and eternal High Priesthood, after the Order of his Son,
even the Apostleship, has been restored; or, returned to the earth. This
High Priesthood, or Apostleship, holds the keys of the KINGDOM OF GOD, and power to bind on earth that which shall be
bound in heaven; and to loose on earth that which shall be loosed in
heaven. And, in fine, to do, and to administer in all things pertaining to
the ordinances, organization, government and direction of the KINGDOM OF GOD...
All the families of
the land shall then go up to Jerusalem once a year, to worship the King,
the Lord of Hosts, and to keep THE FEAST OF
TABERNACLES.
Those who refuse to go up, shall have no
rain, but shall be
smitten with dearth and famine. And if the family of Egypt go not up
(as it never rains there) they shall be smitten with the plague. And thus
all things shall be fulfilled according to the words of the holy prophets
of old, and the word of the Lord which is now revealed, to confirm and
fulfill them. ... And there shall be his tabernacle, his sanctuary, his
throne, and the seat of government for the whole continent of North and
South America for ever. In short, it will be to the western hemisphere
what Jerusalem will be to the eastern. And there the Messiah will visit
them in person; and the old Saints, who will then have been raised from
the dead, will be with him. And he will establish HIS KINGDOM AND LAWS over all the land. To this city, and to its
several branches or stakes, shall the Gentiles seek, as to a standard of
light and knowledge. Yea, the nations, and their kings and nobles, shall say, Come and let us go up
to the Mount Zion, and to the temple of the Lord; where his holy
priesthood stand to minister continually before the Lord; and where we may
be instructed more fully, and receive the ordinances of remission, and of
sanctification, and redemption; and thus be adopted into the family of
Israel, and identified in the SAME COVENANTS (THE FEAST OF
TABERNACLES) of
promise.”
Dear Garrett:
I recently purchased the “Mormon Proclamation” by Frances Darter published
in 1963. As you know we participated in The Feast of
Tabernacles in Parowan from the 28th. of September to
the 3rd. of October 2004. On Sunday
the 3rd. of October we participated in an ordinance which has
not been performed since 69 or 70 AD. since Titus attacked Jerusalem, and
the Temple was destroyed. Even though this ordinance should have been
performed on the last great day, a high Sabbath, which was Tuesday the
5th., it was performed 2 days early because most of the people
had great distances to travel home. This ordinance is referred to above in
the Proclamation of the Twelve
Apostles of the Mormon Church, as they
stated: “Those who refuse to go up, shall have no
rain, but shall be smitten
with dearth and famine.” (See Zechariah 14:17-18) It seems
to me that this is a
very serious
ordinance according to the
Lord. We have just had 6
years of drought here in Utah. And
although we were few in numbers, I feel we were of one heart and mind as
we gathered around that Alter in Parowan, and prayed in that holy
ordinance for moisture and rain. In the past the Lord has said where 2 or
3 are gathered together in My name, He will be there and He will answer.
We were more than just 2 or 3 in that ordinance. Just think about this: in the past 6
weeks, of the new water year here in Southern Utah, we have received 40%
of the years estimate of the average annual rainfall. One of the storms was a once in a hundred year storm.
It was huge. Flooded homes in Saint George.
So I testify that the Lord does have respect for His
Servants and the Holy Priesthood after the Order of His Son! This
blessing is a direct result of that ordinance we did here in Parowan at
the Feast of Tabernacles. The Mormon Church doesn’t do any such thing: but His servants in the Kingdom do keep all of the
commandments written by all of the Holy Prophets. The
Prophet Joseph Smith said: “Where
there is no Kingdom of God there is no salvation.” Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith page 272. Read
