The Gods are Eloheim
The word comes from Ancient Hebrew, and needs some explanation. Joseph Smith tells us:
"Paul says there are Gods many and Lords many; and that makes a plurality of Gods, in spite of the whims of all men. Without a revelation, I am not going to give them the knowledge of the God of heaven.
You know and I testify that Paul had no allusion to the heathen gods. I have it from God, and get over it if you can. I have a witness of the Holy Ghost, and a testimony that Paul had no allusion to the heathen gods in the text. I will show from the Hebrew Bible that I am correct, and the first word shows a plurality of Gods; and I want the apostates and learned men to come here and prove to the contrary, if they can. An unlearned boy must give you a little Hebrew. Berosheit baurau Eloheim ait aushamayeen vehau auraits, rendered by King James' translators,
"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." I want to analyze the word Berosheit. Rosh, the head; Sheit, a grammatical termination; the Baith was not originally put there when the inspired man wrote it, but it has been since added by an old Jew. Baurau signifies to bring forth; Eloheim is from the word Eloi, God, in the singular number; and by adding the word heim, it renders it Gods.
It read first, "In the beginning the head of the Gods brought forth the Gods," or, as others have translated it, "The head of the Gods called the Gods together." I want to show a little learning as well as other fools
The head God organized the heavens and the earth. I defy all the world to refute me. In the beginning the heads of the Gods organized the heavens and the earth. Now the learned priests and the people rage, and the heathen imagine a vain thing. If we pursue the Hebrew text further, it reads, "Berosheit baurau Eloheim ait aashamayeen vehau auraits" "The head one of the Gods said, Let us make a man in our own image."
I once asked a learned Jew, "If the Hebrew language compels us to render all words ending in heim in the plural, why not render the first Eloheim plural?" He replied, "That is the rule with few exceptions; but in this case it would ruin the Bible." He acknowledged I was right.
I came here to investigate these things precisely as I believe them. Hear and judge for yourselves; and if you go away satisfied, well and good.
In the very beginning the Bible shows there is a plurality of Gods beyond the power of refutation. It is a great subject I am dwelling on. The word Eloheim ought to be in the plural all the way throughGods. The heads of the Gods appointed one God for us; and when you take that view of the subject, it sets one free to see all the beauty, holiness and perfection of the Gods. All I want is to get the simple, naked truth, and the whole truth." (Joseph Smith, June 16, 1844; History of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7 Vols. This quote 6: 475-76 and in Teachings of The Prophet Joseph Smith Pages 371-372) As I said at the beginning, Eloheim comes from ancient "Hebrew" , not Jewish. We in the western world have been miss-led since the Council of Nicea in 325 A.D. held by the Catholic Church. The "Latin" word "Universal" is Catholic. The Christian church at that time 325 AD. Jesus himself said to pray to Father. He is the head. Of the Godhead, Jesus is there also, and the Holy Spirit. Yet they are one God. One in purpose, direction, guidance. Jesus himself said: I and my Father are one. John 10:30 He also said: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27 You read all of John 10 yourself. In the beginning: Genesis 1:26 AND God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. Genesis 3:22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil. Genesis 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. You will probably argue when I say that God is the author of war. Because people differ in language they most often differ in ideals and concepts. Exodus 15: 2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him. 3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name. Getting back to Eloheim. There is only one Godhead, composed of more than one individual. "Eloheim" is a plural word. We really should ask, what is God, not who is God. Our Father in heaven has had many children, Jesus our elder brother was so perfect in his obedience that he reached the status of God before he came to this earth. Why have you gone to school, or College? To learn what is right and what is wrong, in any field of endeavor. That is why you are here on this earth.Now the question really is, can you read? If you can then you understand the basis for your eternal judgement.
The English word "Eloheim" is a plural word in Hebrew as Joseph said above. If you don't believe that yet then ask some College teacher of the Hebrew language. You have to learn that. When you see the word "God" in the Bible, it is from "Eloheim" Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning Eloheim created the heaven and the earth." (Remember to always add the letter "S" = Gods = Deity. Remember it was always "Let us " ) Don't get worried, You are not going to be asked to worship some pagan god. There is only one God. Our Father in heaven. With the Godhead, our Father is a Patriarch and he rules as the King. Notice that the word "arch" is in Patri"arch." Like in the scripture in"Yet Michael the 'arch'-angel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee." The devil wanted the body of Moses. Why? We read about Moses in

Exodus 19: 18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly. 19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice. Deuteronomy 34: 10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, 1 Kings 11: 9 And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice, Isaiah 6: 1 IN the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke. 5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.And there are at least a dozen more examples that I could show.
What have you learned? God does appear unto men. He often appears in fire and smoke. He has been seen before.
You too will see the Lord God of Israel in his Glory, Fire, and Smoke.
Deuteronomy 4:23 Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee. 24 For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. So God will burn them by the millions, because he is a consuming fire. 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods? 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken; Exodus 7: 1 AND the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Psalm 82: 1 A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. 82:6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.(Ye are little "g" gods) 7 But ye shall die like men. Acts 14:11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
Isaiah 41: 22 Let them bring them forth, and shew us what shall happen: let them shew the former things, what they be, that we may consider them, and know the latter end of them; or declare us things for to come.
(gods show what is coming.) 23 Shew the things that are to come hereafter, that we may know that ye are gods: yea, do good, or do evil, that we may be dismayed, and behold it together. Do you believe your Bible? Or are you a hypocrite ? The stupid Jews crucified Christ because he claimed to be as God, the Son of God. John 14:1 LET not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe. John 10:30 I and my Father are one. (Yet Jesus prayed to his Father, not to himself.He and God the Father are one in purpose and intent.) John 17: 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are (one). John 10: 26 BUT ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. 27 MY Sheep hear my voice, and I know them, AND they follow me:Have you realized yet that "Eloheim" is a divine family? The word is plural all through the Bible. A single family with Father at the head.
Isaiah 45: 3 …that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, AM the God of Israel. 4 For Jacob my servants sake and Israel MINE Elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. 5 I am the Lord, AND there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: 7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, AND create evil:I the Lord do all these things. 11 Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One OF ISRAEL, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me. Jesus Christ is God, even if you don't
care, or believe. Your ignorance will not stop God from doing his will.

prophets, for you.

The Devils believe, and the harlots who believe will get into the Kingdom when the hypocrites who profess to believe, BUT will not obey the things written in the scriptures are outside.
You can read, so what does your eternal future look like? Are you going to eternal blessings or cursing? When you get on a freeway or highway there are only two (2) directions to travel. Are you getting closer to God, or are you traveling the other direction?
As a prophet said about 2600 years ago:
" 9 And it came to pass that he said unto me: Look, and behold that great and abominable church, which is the mother of abominations, whose founder is the devil.
10 And he said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the whore of all the earth.(ALL the Denominational churches have apostatized from the truth of "Eloheim" and today worship they know NOT what. Jesus said they know NOT the Father. Or the Fathers.)

In the Bible that you read we see that from the creation of the World down to Abraham takes 11 chapters. The rest of the Bible’s 1178 chapters tell us the story of Abraham, just one man’s family. The Pyramids were already hundreds of years old when Abraham came to Egypt.
Moses, who wrote the first 5 books of the Bible, lived hundreds of years after Abraham. Could you write the history of America from 1600 to the present? A time span of 400 years?
We remember that Moses was born a Hebrew and found in the river by Pharaoh’s daughter and raised up in the royal court of Egypt. He had the prime education at that time. He had access to all the records of the Egyptians and other cultures of the Mideast. He knew of the Code of Hammurabi in Mesopotamia, where Abraham had come from.
Acts 7:22 Tells us that Moses was learned in all the Wisdom of the Egyptians.
Hammurabi was King about 200 years after Abraham left and he lived in Susa and Babylon. In 1901 a stele 8 feet tall was found with his Code of Law engraved upon it. Today it is in the Louvre museum in Paris.
Sargon 1 of Akkad (2400 B.C.) about 900 years before Moses had the same story of being found in a basket in the Euphrates river. His story was written in Cuneiform, in Mesopotamia hundreds of years before Moses. It was kept with Hammurabi's code of laws in Sippar, also.
The city of Ur was near the coast of the Persian Gulf. The Tigris and Euphrates rivers flowing into the Gulf created a delta of silt, so that today Ur is about 175 miles from the gulf coast, up into Iraq. The silt delta has grown about 4 1/3 mile per century, since Abraham 4000 years ago. In Sumer they worshiped many gods. They had a god for everything. The sun, moon, water, wind, fire, death, war, planting, harvest, etc.
Moses wrote in Genesis 31:19-36 that Jacob’s wife Rachel had stolen all of her father's gods, idols, and images. And we read in Joshua 24:2 that Abraham's father also had many gods.

Jericho has some remains that date back to 8000 BC. (10,000 years ago). The city of Ur has been dated to 7,000 BC. Check your Encyclopedias. It was about that time that plants were cultivated, and animals were domesticated. Man made spear points have been found in the bones of the wooly mammoths that died in the last ice age 10,000 years ago.
When Abraham came to Egypt he found they worshiped a multitude
Of gods also. The head god of the Egyptians was Ra; lord of the Sun. Osirus was god of the dead, who with his sister, who was also his wife, he ruled the afterworld. When he was killed his sister-wife Isis embalmed his body. The resurrected Osirus was king of the underworld, the Egyptians believed. It was amidst all of this tradition that Moses wrote Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. Ra worship was the state religion of Egypt when Abraham moved there. It continued until about 150 years before Moses, when the pharaoh re-named him Amon-Ra, the father of all the gods. Amon Ra and his wife Mut, (mother) sister, were the divine gods of the temple in Thebes, 450 miles south of Cairo, in the Valley of the Kings. The temple at Karnak for Amen-Ra was the most massive temple ever built in the history of the world. It stands there today. King Tut's tomb was found there in 1922. Though the city was destroyed by the Romans in the 1st. Century BC. Karnak was there at the time of Moses. (That temple was from 1570 to 1070 BC.) Ra was the Egyptian Sun god, over all the other gods.Isis was the wife of Osirus, Egyptian god of the dead in the underworld. El was the Hebrew God (one God) who ruled everything. You have read my information about El - Eloheim - so maybe you can understand where Is- Ra- El came from. Moses wrote of the God of Israel, Is Ra El. Most people are like the O.J. Simpson "Jury" they ignore the facts before their eyes. Even most of the people reading this. They will not believe a man who has talked with Moses and other prophets and received the promises of God.
They will procrastinate away their own lives, and never get the glory that they want. They will find out too late that they have been miss-led, because of their love for things of this world. The Bible calls Susa, Shushan, in Persia, (Iran today) east of Babylon (in Iraq today). Why did you take geography in school?
