So the Blind can see?
For December 2003
Does God want people to be crippled, and with just one hand, or even
with NO HANDS at all? So others need to feed
them or they starve. How would it be if everyone just had
one foot and was
blind?
What if 1/2 of the people were blind in one eye? And had it pulled of their
head. Would God want millions to enter eternity with
NO hands or feet
and blind? So what does he mean when
he commands this to us in Matthew:
“And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck
it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy
members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
And if thy right hand offend
thee, cut if off, and cast it from thee: for it
is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy
whole body should be cast into hell. Matthew
5: 29-
30 So what does he really mean?
Pluck Out Thy
Right Eye; Cut Off
Thy Right Hand (Matthew
5: 29-30).
The command to pluck out one's
offending right
eye or to cut off one's offending
right
hand
is hard doctrine.
The Joseph Smith Translation explains that these are
figurative statements
concerning one's sins. Joseph Smith Translation of the Bible. The Holy
Scriptures: Inspired Version. Independence, Mo.: Herald Publishing House, 1970
Matt. 5:30-34). That is, if an
eye or a hand causes you to commit sin,
you would be better off without it. The figurative nature of these statements is
expanded in Joseph Smith Translation
Mark 9:40-44 with
the eye and the hand
(and a foot)
representing those
persons to
whom we
look for direction
and leadership.
If
friends lead us astray, we had best sever our relationship with them.
Hence the emphasis on the
right
eye
and right
hand,
since those represent strength, whereas in
the ancient culture the
left hand is sinister and unclean.
The explanation of this figurative command concerning parts of the body is a
very practical and useful contribution of the Joseph Smith Translation. (Robert
J. Matthews, Behold the Messiah Salt Lake City: Bookcraft,
1994, page 118
The LDS “Mormon’s” have a doctrine that has been around
for the past 100
years. Leaders always say to follow
the Prophet.
It is preached almost at every conference and
by local leaders also. So how do you feel about
following the prophet
into the fires of hell? Are you happy to go? That’s
where many of the Mormon people are going. Some
fine people who follow the leader instead
of following the words that God has commanded.
Nephi said it would happen
in the Book of Mormon that
the hypocrites “SAY” that they
believe.
So I will quote it for you:
“And I also beheld a strait and narrow path,
which came along by the
rod of iron, even to the tree by which I
stood; and it also led by the head of the fountain, unto a large and spacious
field, as if it had been a world.
21 And I saw
numberless concourses of people,
many of whom were pressing forward, that they
might obtain the path which led unto the tree by which I stood.
22 And it came to pass that
they did come forth,
and commence in the path which led to the
tree.
23 And it came to pass that there arose a mist
of darkness; yea, even an exceedingly great mist of darkness, insomuch
that they
who had commenced in the path did lose
their way, that they
wandered off and were lost.”
Book
of Mormon 1
Nephi
8:20-23
“And I also cast my eyes
round about, and beheld, on the other side of the river of water,
a great and spacious
building; and it stood as it were
in the air, high
above the earth.

tall

“And it was filled with people, both
old and young, both male and female;
and their manner
of dress was exceedingly fine; (they
are in fine suits and dresses)
and they
were in the attitude of mocking and pointing their
fingers towards those who had come at and were partaking of the fruit. (And
once I was there at the church office building doing some research
and someone noticed me eating in the
cafeteria. The Guards came and asked me very ‘politely’ to finish my meal and
leave. I was an offensive Polygamous man. They
even followed me to the restroom.)
28 And
after they had tasted of the fruit
they were ashamed,
because of those that were scoffing at them;
and they fell away into
forbidden paths and were lost.”

So follow the LDS
Leaders and get lost.
Just turn loose of the “Iron Rod” i.e. “The word of God”
and wander off somewhere.
Like Nephi saw happen.
“And he also saw other
multitudes
feeling their way towards that great
and spacious
building. (Millions

the LDS Church in the past, decades
since

32 And it came to pass that
many (millions)
were drowned in the depths of the fountain;
and many
were lost from his view, wandering in strange
roads. 33
And
great
was the multitude that
did enter into that strange building. And
after they
did enter into that building they did point
the finger of scorn at me and those that were
partaking of the fruit also; but we heeded them not.
34 These are the words of my father:
For as many
as heeded them, had fallen
away.”

Now let’s read the
Joseph Smith Translation of Mark 9: 40- 44 “Therefore, IF thy
hand offend thee, cut it off;
OR if thy
brother
offend thee and confess not and forsake not, HE
shall be cut off. It is better for thee to enter into life maimed, THAN
having two hands, TO go to hell. 41 For it is
better for thee to enter into life WITHOUT thy brother,
THAN for thee AND thy brother to be cast into hell;
into the fire that never shall be quenched, where their worm dieth not, and the
fire is not quenched. 42 And again,
IF thy foot
offend thee, cut it off; for he
that is thy standard, by whom thou walkest,
IF he become a transgressor,
HE shall be cut off.
43 It is better for thee, to enter halt into life,
THAN having two feet to be cast into hell; into
the fire that never shall be quenched. 44 THEREFORE,
let every man (woman) Stand or fall, by himself (herself) AND not for another;
OR not trusting another.” Mark 9: 40-44 as Joseph
taught it.
Few people will admit
that Joseph Smiths translation of that scripture and doctrine makes more sense
than a whole bunch of blind crippled people getting into the spirit world.
What do you think now? Will you “cut off” the
leaders who will see for you and lead you into
hell? The answer for most Mormons is NO !
They will just follow the brethren right into the
fires of hell. That is their teaching and doctrine.
Verse 46
tells us: “And IF thine EYE which
seeth for thee, HIM that is appointed to
watch over thee to show thee light, become a
transgressor and offend thee, pluck HIM out.”
A Million Mormon leaders have become transgressors
and God will pluck them out of the land of the living,
as Brigham Young said would happen.

they are all dumb dogs,

The doctrines the Church teaches could be true,
IF they only knew.
their doctrine is true, then why didn’t they follow the
real prophets 100 years ago? OR what my friend
Joseph Smith said: “If we start right, it is
easy to go right all the time; BUT if we start wrong, we may go wrong, AND it be
a hard matter to get right.” TPJS 343 They have gotten off of the
correct track. So what shall we think, has God lost
his voice? Has he got a sore throat and can’t talk now in 2003 ?
Is there anything he has to say to people of urgent need now? What did the

“IF the Church knew
all
the commandments, one-half they would condemn through prejudice and ignorance.”

Man may thus act for himself and choose
to follow or
not to follow the commandments of God
(2 Nephi 2:11-16), but
only
those who follow the
commandments
may eventually attain that perfect order of "the spiritual and heavenly
worlds."
President Brigham Young told
of the Prophet Joseph's appearing to him in a dream and instructing him to tell
the people to follow the Spirit
of the Lord, and promising that "if they will, they can find themselves just as they
were organized by our Father in Heaven before they came into the world. Our
Father in Heaven organized the human family, but
they are all disorganized and in great confusion" If the Father's perfect order
is attainable in the mortal earth, it must also exist and be attainable in the
spirit world. The most righteous would have "their limits and bounds" but would
be in "perfect order and harmony." On the other hand,
the wicked spirits would not have complied with this "perfect order and
harmony" and would be grouped together by priesthood restrictions as well as by
natural association (Monte S. Nyman and Charles D. Tate, Jr., eds.,
Alma, the Testimony of the Word Provo: BYU Religious Studies Center, 1992,
page 182.)
“Though simple and
familiar, these three principles are eternal and will serve us as well as they
have served our ancestors and as they will yet serve our descendants:
first,
follow Christ; second,
follow the Prophet; and
third, follow the Spirit.
(Joseph B. Wirthlin, Finding Peace in Our Lives Salt Lake City:
Deseret Book Co., 1995, page 242.)
“When
our leaders speak,
the thinking has been done. When they propose a
plan – it is God’s plan. When they point the
way, there is no other which is safe. When they give direction, it should mark
the end of controversy.” Improvement Era, page 354
June 1945.
That was the church magazine before the Ensign.
“Thus
saith the LORD;
Cursed be
the man that trusteth in man, and
maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.”
Jeremiah

The scriptures say
not
to trust in men with blood in their veins.
We are supposed to hold onto the Iron Rod of the words of God. We should live
our lives so that we can tell what is true, BECAUSE we have the holy ghost,
‘spirit’ to bear witness of truth. The
real problem is that people don’t keep
all
of the commandments, so they
are in confusion as to what is
right.
A prophet is a man who has the Spirit of
prophecy, meaning the testimony of Jesus (see Revelation 19:10).
Those holding the office of a prophet
have
the authority
to speak for God. The prophet
standing at the head of the Church is the covenant spokesman for the Lord. None
have done better in describing the prophetic office than President Anthony W.
Ivins, who explained that “a careful study of the
etymology of the word and of the lives, works and character of the prophets
of old makes clear the fact that a prophet
was, and is, one called to act as God's messenger.
He is to teach men
the character of God, and define and make known
to the people, his will. (CLICK
HERE to see modern ideas about God and what Spencer
W. Kimball Mormon Church President said in “1976” about God.)
“He is to
denounce sin, and
declare
the punishment
of transgression. He is to be above
all else a preacher of righteousness,
and when the people
depart from the path which he has
marked out for them to follow, (he)
is to call them
back
to the true faith. He
is an interpreter of the scripture, and declares
its meaning and application. When
future events are
to be declared he predicts
them, but his direct, and most important calling is to be a forth-teller,
or director of present policy, rather than a foreteller of
that which is to come.”
(In LDS Conference Report, October 1925, page 20).
“I am grateful that the
Lord has permitted me to come this morning, and I thank President McKay for
giving me the opportunity to say the few
unpremeditated
words I have said. (Today
the leaders read
their talks from the tele-prompter). I pray the blessings of the Lord to
be upon you and upon all of us. I pray the blessings of
the Lord to be upon him, the prophet,
seer, and revelator of the Church and the
President thereof. I pray that we will give him the full measure of support that
we have covenanted to give him when we sustained him by our uplifted hands.
That is a marvelous covenant we make, and as we make it here,
we bind the Church, for this is a constituent
assembly speaking for the Church. God grant his blessings
may be always with us, to help us, to build us
up, to keep us in the straight and narrow path,
even until the end of life, and may he enable us to bestow such an impress upon
our families as will enable them in turn to follow his paths, never forgetting
and applying strictly the great principle he announced, "I am the way, the
truth, the life, and the light," and as to this continent, "I am the law," to
the end that we ourselves and our families after us, may be saved and exalted
and reunited in the hereafter. (J. Reuben Clark, Jr., Behold the Lamb of God
Salt Lake City: Deseret Book Co., 1991, page 295.)
When the Prophet Joseph Smith was alive
as a mortal with blood in his veins he said:
“This morning I read German and visited with a brother and sister from Michigan,
who thought that “a prophet is always a prophet;” BUT I told them that a prophet
was a prophet only when he was acting as
such.”
Teachings of the Prophet
Joseph
Smith

Again he said: “The world always
mistook false prophets
for true ones,
AND those that WERE
sent of God, they considered to be false prophets.
